The "crown of thorns" is kept at st chapelle across the plaza afaik. It was built specifically to house it

With all of the staging it's likely some dumbass set it on fire torching part of the roof system.

This would be my guess. Saw a Yellowstone Club mansion go up in flames once because some bozo was welding rebar for the front steps and woops, there went that home. Home stretch on final construction too. Lol.

Yeah ten or so years ago a MegaMcMansion burned to the ground as, I think a drop cloth or tarp got too close to a work light. Burned in a matter of minutes. It was a ridge top house and the whole Valley got to see it-during rush hour.

Amazing how fast fire can consume something.
