Oaxaca is a gnarly 6 hour drive from the coast. You wouldnt want to both in the same time. But you could go and stay there for a few days when the waves were flat. I have spent a lot of time in that region, but never once found the motivation to ride a bike there. The waves pump non stop.

Dude when I make it down to Oaxaca I will be too full of food and too hungover from mezcal to be safely capable of operating any wheeled vehicle ...

If it’s in the budget, Maui has some fun (but limited) trails on the north side of the volcano and one of the better flow trails I’ve ever ridden. Surfing can be had at various spots obviously and you can’t beat the fish tacos at Paia Fish Market... assuming of course you can fly there and not have to self quarantine for X days

We’ve had a great run of waves for spring this year and with a few spring rain storms the trails have been staying tacky. Santa Cruz for the surf/MTB right now. Several South swells lined up and morning glass up the coast.

Morning surf, mid day siesta, afternoon ride.
