There's a no blackout version for $379. Still a great deal.
The 3 percent "service fee" is BS. At least Vail puts theirs under the guise of shipping and handling. Indy Pass has nothing to ship, hence "service fee." Dumb.

Cost of an Indy add-on went up more than 46% this year and with the increased blackouts, I'm sure their sales will drop significantly.
For me the weekend blackouts are of no concern because I retire in September and am going to play golf and ski mid-week from now on.
Not 100% committed to buying the add-on but I have time since it's not available until July 1.
They also have added 10 resorts since last year too and had redemption rates go up something like 1100% this past year.
just added Marmot/jasper. and some others
I'll use jasper and castle as small trips anyways. but this as a road trip from banff looks fun

this pass is a great deal for the cost.
assuming you can actually get there....
i'm stoked on the indy pass this season. that w ikon, 4 months off to travel and ski should be decent.
might be my last season for the big passes, just nordic, bc and indy pass.
would love to be in a situation where I could travel like that byates. So many great small ski areas to explore.
Prior to the pandemic, Ski Vermont had a program where fifth graders got a book of coupons for three days at many of the Vermont alpine and nordic resorts. According to the SkiVT website, they may run it again this year: https://skivermont.com/fifth-grade-passport
You don't have to be a resident of Vermont, and I think parents get discounted ticket rates.
Really enjoyed that short and the struggle of labor, money and maintenance and passion it takes to keep the independent open.
Indy pass is great. Got one last year and put 10 days on it. NC, NH, VT and ID.
Got it again this year and hoping for more.
nice cross sampling of ski country…
Irritating being charged 5 for a card at the ticket window each resort you visit.
It is in the fine print, but conveniently not mentioned anywhere.
So your Indy pass is 100$ more than the advertised price. Irritating.
Blacktail Mountain (south of Kalispell) just announced they've been added to the Indy Pass. They were recently bought by the Mission Ridge owners.
Good news for western Montana and inland NW. My resorts to hit this winter are Lost Trail, Blacktail, Silver Mtn, 49 Degrees North (all within 3hrs or so from Missoula). Brundage and Tamarack will be a week trip combo in Feb (6hrs), Red Lodge is a spring possibility, Mission Ridge to meet some Seattle friends.

15 " of new at tamarack Idaho today. Untracked everywhere in bounds all day. Quiet. They are rfid, but no charge for the card.
Figured this pass been discussed. Seems like the perfect low key old '80s van tour to see off the map ski/board areas that might still KIR.
Pomerelle. Quiet, mellow, untracked everywhere.
What the hell, ski pomerelle!
500” a year according to their website
