Wasn't it Hendrix who was asked "What's it like to be the best guitar player in the world"? His reply, "I don't know , you'd have to ask Rory Gallagher". Great bluesman and underappreciated for sure.

But then I find 2 albums I have never heards of but with Familiar artists
1 an Elton John jawn I never heard :
Second one was this and damn it is good. Amazing band including slowhand.
Eric Clapton: Plays lead guitar and vocals
Carl Radle: Plays bass
Jim Gordon: Plays drums
Bobby Whitlock: Plays organ and vocals
Dave Mason: Plays guitar
Rita Coolidge: Sings
Bobby Keys: Plays saxophone
Jim Price: Plays trumpet and trombone
its fun on vinyl....
Took a little bit to find this, I heard it on the radio and had to dig a bit. 11 years old, the guy's a carpenter now (does nice work!) but I like his song more. Very evocative of this area. Anyways I like it.
