    Edge Tune on PB&J

I just bought a set of Moment PB&J's. For those of you riding the PB&J what edge are you putting on it? I'm assuming most will do a 1:1 but opinions obviously can vary. Anyone running it detuned? I'm curious what to tune it to if I need to change it and why you do it. I almost never hit the park except a rare occasional jump.

Also, are you tuning just the running edges and detuning the rest or the tuning the full length?

    Thanks!

Tech talk... (comes tuned from factory at 1/1 and I wouldn't change it but depends on what the typical conditions you are using the ski on)

Thanks. I'll probably keep it 1:1. Yeah you're right, I should've put it in Tech Talk.

As others have said, Moment skis are 1/1 from the factory and are detuned to the contact point. I will gummy stone if I hit anything and then only sharpen the side edge in the contact area and never touch the area above that.

I run all my narrower skis full sharp tip to tail with a 1/3 and have found Moments don’t ski as well like that. 1/1 with detune about contact point and you’re golden-surfy but edgehold when you need it.

Keep 'em at 1/1. Skied my PB&Js with a 1/1 on some icy patches in VT last weekend and they did surprisingly well. 1/1 is enough unless you're planning on skiing these on icy slopes a lot (like every time you ski them).
