Hey TGR, why aren't imgur's "huge" thumbnails not embedding properly anymore with the [img] tags? That size (1024x1024) is the best/easiest way to embed larger images, IMHO.
the link works: (unless it's in [url] tags -- you might have to copy/paste)

Or can someone else tell me a better way to do this?
edit, now it's working for some images after I mess with the link? Huh???

That's a reasonable fix, but I really don't like dealing with the TGR "attach image" nonsense...

yeah that shit sucks and it only works sometimes and it also often loses the orientation metadata. itd be great if it just worked i agree

afaik TGR can link imgur images so long as you paste in the direct link to the image file (ending in .jpg or .png etc typically)
when you upload an imgur image, you end up at a url like this: https://imgur.com/a/V4kerCT
if you click the image to expand, right click then "open image in new tab" you will have a direct link to the image, eg https://i.imgur.com/ZQcfchx.jpg
^ this image uploaded through the tgr image loader using the second (direct file extension) method
^ this image embedded using img tags via the second method (direct file extension)
the current software does not know how to make sense of imgur's url schema, and that's unlikely to change anytime too soon...
(sorry for the gear pics)
hope this is clear: imgur embedding/uploading works fine as long as you get a direct link to an image file (this will end in some sort of image file extension)

edit: if you remove the "i." prefix (eg https://imgur.com/vlVkHyP.jpg) imgur redirects you to the i. version, but it still loads...
no clue what imgur is doing here... probably trying to defeat this sort of hotlinking lol

I see some images in the Survey thread, but not others; paths are consistent and are prefixed with the "i."
