Give me a few days. But I think I might be able to dig up something for you.

Anyone recently did a Cast conversion and kept the pedestals and AFDs? The newer, the better.

Ive got a set of gripwalk pedestals from a cast conversion on pivots that had ~10 days on them I’d guess

regarding the post in the other thread that should have been here...
    [tldr: is there a replacement GripWalk AFD for a 2014 P14 [non-Dual/WTR/GW]?]
    https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...12#post6983512

Rossi CS says: "No, there is no replacement AFD for that binding to use the updated GW or WTR norms."

However, they also didn't say the available P14 GW AFD pieces don't fit the old binding, so that may be a little open for discovery...[they can't offer info against their liability performance standards]

So, I gotta find some newer GW P14 toes or consider buying a newer pair of bindings with the appropriate GW AFD

I would also be interested in a pair of gripwalk AFD for a P15 if anyone is holding. Willing to give them my alpines too...

I think I saw a thread, maybe newschoolers, showing some work that had to be done to modify a GW afd to replace the old 5355 afd. I would like to do that on some old 14s that work great.

Someone here has probably done it. Otherwise it's 5355 toe plates. Anyone mixed 5355 toe plates on boots with GW heel plates on non GW pivots?

in some ways I think it may boil down to the shape of the taper behind the AFD

does the alpine AFD profile interfere with the ISO norm dims for GW boot toe profile?

I'm refurbing an old pair of FKX 14s. I thought the AFDs I had were going to work, but unfortunately they don't fit. Does anyone have any older FKS/Pivot 14 AFDs? These are pre grip walk/WTR.

Given the vintage of the ski I'd say no.

Yea. That’s what I was thinking. He’s asking $90 for them so would be worth it for the bindings if GW. Need them for another ski.

Those look sweet. If the toe bottoms & base plates looks like the ones in this thread, a shim and GW base plate might work for those bindings....

Also, does anyone know which years these base plates and toes were in production?
