Rossi race 120 - replacing AFD strip?

I acquired a pair of Rossi Race 120s that I'm hoping to mount. Only problem is that the white strip on one of the AFDs is, well, not there.

    I found this thread...https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...i-AFD-material

Anyone ever try replacing those strips?

I’ve replaced a bunch of them on old Sollys. This shit works great https://m.ebay.com/itm/Teflon-PTFE-s...d=110978983044

These will accomodate the wider AFD from the Pivot 12/14.

Despite the fact that Delrin has a really low coefficient of friction and probably is fine, Teflon is even lower which is why it's used for AFDs. I would go with the teflon with the self adhesive backing already applied since, as the linked thread in the op's thread noted, teflon is impossible to glue in a non industrial setting.

Thanks for the input, all! I’ll try out some self-adhesive Teflon.

I'd suggest taking Phil's suggestion and buy the new Pivot 12/14 AFD. You can get them directly from Rossi for probably less than $20 shipped. Definitely under $25. You'll have the wider footprint and a one that's not partially handmade, and you'll prolly spend that much on teflon with adhesive anyways.

That said, I will say I've had success with gluing teflon back onto some Pivot 15/18 AFDs. I bought some 3/32" PTFE (teflon) from Amazon, roughed up the bottom of the teflon real good, and used JB PlasticWeld 50132 for adhesive. Has held up for a little more than half a season so far, and they were skiied exclusively in bumps and halfpipe so were definitely knocked around a bit.

If I couldn't find the "official" AFD or adhesive backed Teflon sheets, I'd use 3M VHB tape.

FYI for anyone else who might be in this situation, I found this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Soles2dance-I...8-1&th=1&psc=1

6"x12" is $23, which ought to be enough for a lot of bindings.
