Screw sports. This is, by a large margin, the wildest trans issue I've ever seen

LOL what kind of a dumbass thinks Gym Jordan, Gaetz, and MTG are gonna step up for trans rights.

I don't say that about all beers.
I don't say that about all world class athletes. It was simply an observation that swimming seems to involve an inordinate amount of tedious training compared to most sports. I do have great respect for people who can train hard in any sport. There is a lot of literature expounsing the theory that success in sports and other endeavours like music performance depends a lot on people being able to practice--the best don't have to make themselves train; they have to make themselves not train. So there's no need for you to lose your shit--I'm not putting you down or saying you're stupid for having been a swimmer. That would be golfers, according to Sports Illustrated ranking of athletes from smartest to dumbest by sport.

And I do know something about hard work.

Let the trans people have whatever they want. Who cares.

Their gender dysmorphia anxiety and stress can be debilitating. The last training I had I was told that just the process of getting dressed in the morning equates to an entire day’s worth of high stress for an average person.

Let them be, the courage it must take to even enroll in a competitive sport is remarkable.

I apologize for being a Dick. I know you are a man of experience.

Apples bs oranges. Being a swimmer is like being a a race horse, or a sprinter. Your only goal is to maximize physical performance etc. I’ve trained with gold medalist, and some of them, summer sanders for example, had so much talent I consider her a failure. She should have won 10 gold medals. she was lazy, but she was a freak same as Phelps ability to recover. But I’m general, if you’re not leading the workouts, you’re not getting faster I’m the pool.

Now baseball? My son throws 93 mph and those fucks barely work out. He’s all baseball iq and obviously has an arm. I beg him not to lift. But what the fuck do I know a game that was originally intended for schools girls?

I deleted it. It’s back from the dead.

But every time someone’s offended it’s not polyass. It’s the PR. Read. Or don’t.

But can we get back to women’s chess?

pedophilia is not a matter of someone being "offended" -
    There was another thread that recently went off-the-rails when comic cross-dressers were similarly characterized ;

it is the days long effort to frame this in political terms that promotes this thread being moved to polyass - and doing so in ways that ,,, really beyond being offensive, are really just ignorant
    ( can't offer a persuasive discussion ? attack the other side )

pedophilia is not a joke -
I am sorry for those who believe it is to be joked about .
Please take it to polyass --

    Thank you. tj

Pastors, scout leaders and priests are more likely to be pedophiles than trans people or trans advocates.

On this we agree. Fags are gay. Trans are struggling. But the vast majority have no interest in pre pubscents. I would argue that “straight” frustrated males are more likely to molest young teens. And priests are above that class.

Scouting's been cleaned up. Adults are no longer allowed to be around kids who aren't their own without another adult present.. EVER now.

Churches are the hunting grounds of pedos now.. Youth pastors, random people bouncing from church to church signing up for different group activates.. And especially dudes dating single moms..

Off topic, but that's a milestone, and I vividly remember my last chemo like it was yesterday. I'd like to think cancer made me a better person, but maybe it hasn't? Felt a little less prickly during all that, need to revert back. Thx for the reminder and I hope the best for you two.

As both a former altar boy and an eagle scout, I am offended that OG would think I meant anything at all about any llte or light beers tasting great. Merely more less filling propaganda. Plus those lites will destroy your guts to the point that it's impossible to either leave the bathroom or in any way be full of shit.

Team Tastes Great would smack you in your mickey's big mouth if an anchor steam was still in reach.

I'd say it's pretty much impossible to refute this point. Hell, even in open water swimming you have to stop swimming to take in the view unless you're somewhere with really clear water. On the other hand, there is lots of time for quiet contemplation.

Yeah, just a bunch of white middle aged guys trying to figure this out. Not looking for attention but I posted a local news article that outlined a fed district court ruling upholding that one of the reddest states can't enforce their latest trans athletic ban because of a plaintiff who is cis gender female who I personally know and has a well articulated opinion on the matter sued and not a single comment out of the last 60 on it. Anyone care? I thought we should let the women decide...

Carry on with discussions on whether byates thinks scout masters are theRAPISTS and if cono really deserves his speedo.

I'll comment. The Idaho law was batshit crazy and I'm glad it's been blocked.

By a cis gender female high school athlete who is going to college on athletic scholarship who wasn't worried about competing against them or playing on the same team with them. There's a deeper conversation there than Idaho creates batshit crazy laws. We all already know that part.

I think your observation got almost as much interaction as the one offered by an actual competitor in female sports. If we're still finding out who thinks locker rooms should ban 9 gear olds, we may not be ready for the deeper conversation about deeper conversations just yet.

    This thread delivers.

I'd like to thank the mod squad for giving it mouth to mouth and a few thumps on the chest.

The only thing worse than swimming training is being a swimming kid's parent. 105F Sacramento Sunday--"The next event is 32 heats of girls' 6 and under freestyle and we aren't starting until we get some timers"--all to watch your kid compete for about 90 seconds all day. Now water polo otoh . . .
