I grew up in NJ man...I likely won't ski much back east. I do own a condo at Kmart though.

    Saying goodbye to Utah

Close to the Gunks, one of the best places to rock climb back east. And yeah the food is insane, watch out or you'll get fat.

It's really more family. That's where ours live. NY and NJ. Will make it considerably easier on us. We will be able to take.more vacations, etc. We don't have a support system in Utah so we don't get too much alone time with a 5 yr old and a 9 ur old. She moved here with me, no questions. We had 2 kids here. I will miss it more than she will, but she will miss some things. If I could convince family to move to Utah we would likely stay.

Slow motion Goshen!! I just got flashbacks of my Village calzone & movie Fridays back in the mid-80s. Is Redendos still there? Great place to grow up.

    Well, shit.

Kart just started a subscription plan, of sorts. 99 a month gets you a season pass, greens fees on the golf course, and lift served MTB. All the black flies you can stand right now, too.

    Good luck to you.

I grew up on the North shore of Tahoe I lived lots of places chasing the job.

I ended up in Rocky Hill CT. I was ok there, lived with the same woman almost 8 years.

But she was from there, her family was all there. I think they had been there since the 1700's She was never going to leave.

And I had to be here.

Anyway. at face value for us mountain people moving from Utah to NY sounds dumb??

Of course it is right? I mean I'm actually part of the problem. I own property in VT, but and not from there, no relatives there, and for the last 11 years I have only rented my property there. It's still a very nice state.
