Goniff's boat looks like it's built for comfort. Not for speed.

Still some sailing days left. Had to chip a bit of ice out of the peapod this morning to get some lines free, but after that…

2025 Mini Globe 580… a round the World sailing race in homemade 19’ plywood boats. FKNA.

18 entrants starting in February and this dude is the only American.

I have no affiliation but am going to send the dude a donation to help wave that flag, wave it wide and high…

Dropped the Kid off yesterday at dawn for the start of her 3 month adventure to sail to the Northern tip of Labrador in a 28’ Bristol Channel Cutter. They are along for the full trip as Mate with the owner and a rotating crew as logistics allow.

The oldest Kid and Mrs. single joined this boat for a 2 week stint when it circumnavigated Newfoundland a couple years ago. Now the boat is going back and headed way North

Dropped our son off at sailing camp in NC for his 5th year this past weekend. Time flies and I’m so jealous of all the fun he’ll have.

I was just wondering and going to ask how Goniff’s new boat ownership was going. Glad to see it!

We&#39;ve lost a few regulars to the forum clusterfucks over the last few seasons, so I don&#39;t know how much goniff still pokes around here.&nbsp; He did some nice upgrades over the winter and his boat is sailing great.&nbsp; We had dinner on it back at the dock since weather was moving in and we decided not to drop the anchor.&nbsp;</p>
