Kanjac spaghetti today, good enough to keep in rotation. Did angel hair, noodles are long as fuck, will chop up next time.

On 2nd day, but not in ketosis yet. 1st was below my calorie numbers, and maybe a little off on fat protein ratio, but not much.

The alpha tocopherol and sugar elimination was all about fighting cancer. Cliff's notes on alpha tocopherol is that of the 8 forms of vitamin E, alpha tocopherol is the cheapest, strongest antioxidant--and best promoter of tumor growth, probably by interfering with one or more mechanisms by which cancer cells are identified. But vitamin E is needed for natural killer cell production, which is a significant line of defense.

During treatment I cut out anything with much alpha, including olive oil, which was traded nicely for grape seed oil and somewhat less easily coconut and even corn oil. But grape seed has a nicely elevated flash temp, though, too.

Red kidney beans might be the greatest dietary cancer fighter I found. And KQ could probably make a really good cupcake out of them--mine were ok, but for some reason everyone politely left them for me. I should try those again.

Try St. Joseph pita's, great for mopping up butter and creamy sauces.

    Thanks, will check them out.

Next, the stupid piss sticks! Had just been sticking them in the piss stream, but appearing i was washing something off the strip and not getting results.

Pissed in a cup, and dipped, and they worked. So not as handy as just pissing on them.

You could probably skip the strips and the pricks and just gauge ketosis by how bad your breath smells.

One downside to being in keto was no more epic craps, just rabbit turds.

I like being able to eat half a pizza then drop a load in the morning that makes me feel 8 pounds lighter, very satisfying way to start the day.

Maybe it was a combination of the intermittent fasting and not eating enough salads.

But hey I lost weight so I guess having a good crap should be seen as a privilege and not a right if your diet consists of mostly meats and cheeses.

I love beans. The profuse flatulence, not so much.

Smoking weed also helps when fasting.

Anytime I had a craving for food I would smoke a bowl then forget I was hungry.

Everyone is different. If I smoked while fasting I’d down a bag of Cheetos in 3.486559 seconds.

I find red kidneys are particularly difficult to eat. They ruin a lot of things, so I never got that many at a time. Only place I actually like them is in a minestrone, where they're vastly outnumbered. Sounds like there might be a 3-bean salad with vinegar in my future, though.

"bean salad" will always make me think of my signature.

Yeah well that's how I gained 20#'s noshing on Snyder's sourdough pretzel bits.

Sometimes you just have to say no and retrain your brain.

Going to look into this over the weekend.

Black beans are by far my fav, with cumin and way too much cilantro.
Fairly much gave them up when I looked in to Paleo and gave up chipotle.

Guess I’ll give this stuff a whirl.

They had a bunch of weird flavors at my store. Nothing I would normally buy in a fruit juice, which seems like a store manager stocking blunder.

I like the flavor you bought pretty well. Lime is a staple. Tangerine is really good. Of course it all depends on what fruits you like.

They have some new Simple Truth (Kroger) ones that are pretty good. Arrowhead has some good ones in bigger plastic bottles as well as Trader Joes. Even Perrier when it is on sale. Lime and grapefruit are my go to's. It was a fairly easy transition, but sometimes I really do want a Pepsi.

All I wanted was a Pepsi, but she wouldn't give it to me.
