I was averaging 1:45 but after reading that other thread on here about concept 2's, supposedly the cool kids keep it on level 3 or 4, anything else is considered poor form because it doesn't represent the natural movement of the oar in water. At that level I'm about 2:00 keeping a medium high pace. HIIT is hitting 1:20 for 20 30 seconds with 40 sec recovery.

well if you can do 8:00 drunk I'll be impressed.

I've never bothered with 500M I'll have to try it when I'm all the way healthy to see how far behind that Shawn Baker guy ^^^ I am. Guaranteed it's a long ways.

When I was younger and we had a pretty good gym in our garage, I partook of many different substances and we would end up playing around with weights at some point. Wish I still had the garage gym, but the wife needs a place to park inside and I would actually have to use them as well.

Guess it depends on what your "low weight" is and how recoverable if you redline and power out. Also what kinda lift, of course.

No! No, no, not 6! I said 7. Nobody's comin' up with 6. Who works out in 6 minutes? You won't even get your heart goin', not even a mouse on a wheel.

    50% to 60% of 3 rep max.
I usually squat 1.2 my bodyweight, high rep would lower that to 50% my weight which is #105, So ass to grass at #105 slightly drunk for 10 or whatever reps,

2 to 3 reps at heaviest possible to achieve those reps.
    Lower weight by 20% - 30% for 5 to 8 reps
    Lower weight by 50% - 60% for 10 to 14 reps.

Is this the point when working out to clear out the alcohol of last night or the weekend requires hair of the dog just to get headed in that direction? Seems counter intuitive..

Maybe drive yer hot car or go drink more at the local but of all the things one could do while high, I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would chose to lift weights while loaded ?

Happens one or twice a month, if you are doing a cut it’s nice to have a cheat day. I think it’s probably the most productive thing I could do while drunk.

Suppose slightly drunk is fine, so long as you're not so shitfaced you lose your form and round the lumbar spine too much, which sometimes happens when trying to come up too fast. So long as you're keeping tension, and make sure to watch out for axial rotation, you're prolly fine.

Another reason not to lift hammered, is that power and muscle gains from lifting are compromised a bit below 1 gm/kg of alcohol intake, (which for you would be a little over a 6-pack) due to physiological changes.
