sorry to hear this. I80 is probably the best way from CO>UT, but I have no idea how possible if at all possible it would be for you to make your way that far north from where you are

Safely through security. Overweight on the battle axes but the agent showed love. NOT boarding a 737MAX so all should be good.

Thanks for the offer on the spatulas Dibs but I am good now.

After paying the baggage extortion tax I was promoted to safety master and placed in the exit row. The lady next to me just said “I bet I’m the only one on this plane who has ever had to go out one of those windows.”

She couldn’t save that nugget till AFTER we landed?

Why, because she has pulled it open randomly before? Sounds like she's got a great story to be told.

I am officially not going to make it. Earlier in the season I had it on my calendar, then mis-season when I was up for a promotion, I moved into the maybe column. Well, here I am, at the make it or break it point, and work just won't get its claws out of me.

Enjoy it, I certainly wish I could make it. Looks like a good crew.

The middle of the back row is actually more conducive to apres. Up against the snowbank you lose sunlight first and the chill sets in.

So, got to Ogden last night. Spent a fine evening discussing worldly doin’s with the digitally-departed but largely-unchanged Tresckow, and a few hours skiing around Snowbasin with the still-ripping Kristen.
While it was indeed dumping, tuff ski conditions prevailed with real poor visibility and a smorgasbord of crusts.

Rough plan for tomorrow: leaving Ogden super mega early, try to link up with sfb and ski Solly with whomever else of us makes it. Depending on how I’m doing (Michigan legs) and roadway clusterfuckery, may go downcanyon in the pm...playing that part by ear.

I can’t believe anybody got a speeding ticket, the 2.7 was laboring just to do 70-75 through Wyoming.

Also, cell service is weirdly bad at Casa Del Tresckow, so I’m kinda in and out with phone/intertoobz for the evening.

Somali Air. Emergency landing in Kenya due to in flight engine fire.

I waited till landing to get the details. She said she never tells the story or brings it up and it just slipped out when we were asked for verdant confirmation to participate in case of emergency.

LCC is closed, BCC rarely closes. The path to Solitude follows the BCC direction. Big pow=usually big crowds, come early.
