I didn't have my phone with to snap a pic, but the men's bathroom at the Fox bicycle service place in Sparks NV has two urinals: one with a RockShox sticker in it, the other with a DVO sticker.

Someone left a note on someone’s car at a ski area parking lot:

This one was trying to get donations for pandas, I guess. Yours is better.

The fact that people keep pen and paper in a car on the drive to ski area amuses me.

You keep your ski area car pretty stripped down, then?

    Really? Huh.
All my vehicles have multiple stashed pens/pencils, and scraps of some kind of parchment. Fuel receipts, various lists of things to do, that note to the poor owner of the vehicle my wife just scored with her car’s bumper claiming responsibility and contact info. Or some years ago, to make a sign to the cute girls on the highway to flash us their boobies.

But the fact this brings you levity in this age of instant social messaging for the slights indicated in the previous posts, that exists in most everyone’s pocket amuses me too

    Yeah. Pen. Paper. Lighter.
In every car. Maybe even a flesh light. I meant flash light.

Was the VW's parking job as bad as it looks in the pic?

Because if it was all the decent human beings of society could probably sign off on all the underlined words without irony.

In our little grocery store on Friday all the meat past it’s sell-by date was relabeled with a new price and “Product of Russia” as the origin.

^cant leave a passive aggressive note to a stranger (most likely incapable of self awareness/reflection, doesn’t care that their actions affects others, etc…in others words a complete waste of your time when you should’ve verbally berated them in front of others or pelted them with a snowball when they got out of their vehicle) if you don’t have their number though.

Sooner or later, it WILL happen.

Back when I was young, we'd just pick up a rock and gouge the message into the wagon bed.

At the Wolf Creek overflow lot on a 12" report combined with locals day I overheard a heated exchange between some random asshat who had passed roughly 30 cars using the shoulder and one of those passed:

"I'm going to piss on your door- handles when you leave!!!"

That's why you shoud always have a bag of fresh dog shit in your car. 'Cause there never seems to be any lying around when you need it. (Yet it always seems to be there when you want to step somewhere.)

    I laughed.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A controversial draft reparations proposal that includes a $5 million lump-sum payment for each eligible Black person...
This is offensive. They need to at least give them enough money to buy a house in San Francisco...

I got a note on my car at the ski area a few weeks ago. It said something like, “we live in a society with laws. Those laws apply to you too. Stop driving so fast. And be kind to your fellow man” - something along those lines.

No illegal passes or anything on the way up. I *might* have been speeding but only during the pass as my rule is that if they’ll do the speed limit or faster I’ll stay back a reasonable distance and not pass.

Fucking weird IMO. You wanna ask them if they’ve been on a highway anytime recently. That’s a lot of notes to write.

This gives me a chance to ask a question I've had ever since I spotted that note: what if you just had a blank piece of paper under your windshield wiper? Would you assume it was from some disgruntled passee or would that just be confusing?

I have this theory that many people who get notes would be just as irritated by a blank one as if someone had written twatwaffle on a doily, kicked their door and pissed on the handle. But that's probably wrong.

I think a note that just said, "THINK!" would be amusing.
