I'm pulling for Finau as the newb in contention, but it's pretty damn tough to think Spieth doesn't win it.

    THE MASTERS

    Weather is holding up here.
    Drizzle earlier and breezy now.
Less than 30% chance of rain for rest the day.
Overall it’s a very pleasant day and the course is in perfection.

My bet is the players will have a different definition of "perfection" they got used to those lightning fast greens. They won't be that way today. Won't get much roll in the fairways either. Should be interesting. I expect the field to come backwards.

The amount of apologizing for Tiger’s performance is really annoying. They hyped him as a shoe in to contend this week, so now they are trying to cover their asses for being so wrong.

With the way he's been playing and the fact that he's "pain free for the first time in a decade" along with his extensive course knowledge you had to think he was gonna be a contender.

Oh sure. He definitely had a chance. I just get sick of the Tiger Show 24/7 for a month leading up.

looks like that rain took the bite out of those greens, reed better step it up or he may get passed on the back 9.

I really hope Fowler, or Mcilroy take a stab at Reed, but I don’t see Reed falling apart.

I was hoping for the weather they claimed was happening. Never came in. Course is soft now and they're just shooting darts. No winds.

when phil and tiger came out and struggled, looked like it might be tough; but apparently that was on them; most everyone else is tearing it up.

should be the same tomorrow. if reed doesn't choke, he should be mailing it in.

Maybe Rory can redeem that 7 shot lead he blew by taking a 7 shot lead from Reed.

Huge putt on 18 for Rory! 4-5 strokes is nothing on Sunday at Augusta.
