Not a fan of the timing of Augusta's new women's am tourney, finishing the Saturday before Masters week. Right on top of the ANA, first women's major of the year. Nothing good about two high level tourneys on the same weekend.

Agreed. He didn't mention it was recurring but it seemed like he knew exactly what to do when it happened.

The only thing I don't like is it takes away from the amateur tradition at the ANA. But, the opportunity at Augusta is superior for those players.

Also, The ANA starts pretty late. They can wrap it up before the leaders tee off on Saturday.

Sergio hits five into the water. Takes a 13 on one hole.

Finau. Showing some toughness. Maybe a new training technique. Dislocate ankle, shoot -4.

Speith owns that course, he's gonna be hard to beat.
As we know, The Masters doesn't start until the back nine on Sunday.

Yup. He's said many times that The Master's (and most majors) feel longer than a regular tournament. In his mind he's won round 1/6 so there's lots of work to be done.

I think his big takeaway from his meltdown is that he can't let up on the gas if he's built a lead. No way he makes that mistake again.

Doug Ghim eagles 18, only the 6th ever on that hole in tournament history. Low amateur at even par.
