FYI I'm actually still employed. April 2 is the official date. Decent severance and full Bennie's through end April. They'll probably toss me a bunch of consulting $$ after that. My salary just didn't make full sense to the new investor. If you actually knew anything about the real business world you'd know how it works. They'll end up paying me damn close in consulting fees and they'll only be one client. In the end it was a super comfy job for 6 years. Work from home, no boss around, do your job nobody asks questions. I probably got a little lazy. I'm a bit more motivated to break free of the man.
All the " get a job" talk is funny though so keep it going. You do realize without people like me your job would be orders or magnitude harder. How's Hemmings these days?

Lazy in not looking for more work. The job was too easy. Not that I was lazy. I mean I'm still on the payroll and they're going to pay me to consult. Sounds ok to me...I guess I sucked though.
