Maybe I am just still fried from years of abuse, but man it seems like my feet shrink by mid day on a full ski day. Especially if I hike. Or are my boot just getting softer?
Boots (1 month old Nordica Strider 130 with Intuition Power Wrap MV) fit perfect from 9am to about 12:30 or 1. After that I start to feel like I am swimming in them and spend much of the afternoon feeling like my boots aren't tight enough. Yesterday it got pretty warm mid day and after a long hike on the ridge I felt like I had flip flops on while skiing down.
Now the liners are only 2 months old, but I had a hell of a time with them and used them in FT Seths for a few weeks before switching boots. They have been baked 4+ times. They are pretty stiff now and ski well, but maybe I killed them and packed out too much volume?
Maybe I need to finally bite the bullet and go to a fitter.....
