Are you playing with free parking jackpots?
If so remind the winners of such that 39% of which goes to Uncle Sam. And as you pass that money over to the bank just keep a few of the bottom bills for yourself.
Call it a convenience charge.
I still call it The Jake.

Let's talk Monopoly strategy...
Do you sink your money into low rent but dominate large swaths of the board or go high end/ park Ave and bankrupt your opponents once they land on boardwalk with a hotel?
How do you feel about railroads and utilities?
Well, the slumlord won last night. He dominated the low rent district early and hampered investment bucks in the bourgeoise properties.
I still wonder what would happen if only two people were playing and one landed on a property they wanted but couldn’t afford. I assume, but haven’t seen any on point language, that it goes up for auction and would go for 1 dollar more than the player who landed on it held at the time.
How about this one: player 1 lands on property. Players 2 and 3 are in jail. Player one declares they don’t want the property. Property goes on auction block. Players 2 and 3 can’t bid from the hoosegow. Player 1 buys for 1 dollar. Is player 1 prohibited from bidding due to his declaration?
And I love the rails. All four is consistent solid income with a landing spot on every boulevard.

Don't buy utilities. Railroads are OK.
Buy every property you can get your hands on at the beginning of the game, and then put as many houses on everything as you can afford. Mortgage stuff if you need to. But never upgrade to hotels. Since there are a limited number of houses available, you can get most of them on your properties and prevent others from upgrading their properties. They won't be able to generate enough income without upgraded properties, and you'll eventually win.
Has a monopoly game ever been played all the way to the end? Not in my house.
