    man you have GOT to put a big whippy antenna and a searchlight on that thing, the highways will open up in front of you wherever you go. They don't even need to be hooked up. That push bar wouldn't hurt either.

    Ha- my grandmother had an 85 white caprice classic - no landeau top, plain jane hubcaps- got her new tires and made sure they were +1's and the whitewalls were turned in- I could fire that sled at 90 down the turnpike all day long - they just peeled out of the way.

    I do not need an econo shitbox but I'd like a cheap AWD that gets better or similar mileage to my the Subaru Outback. I'm looking at Sportage's, Hyundia Tucson or Santa Fe, Honda CRV or Pilot, Toyota RAV4. Matrix or Vibe but I can't find many.

    What econo shitbox commuter car?

    2002-2006 CRV, some around have a manual, I’ve been looking for a year. My 02’ is bomb proof and it has a fucking table in the trunk, not to mention countless other smart features. Too bad they destroyed all of the utility in later models.
