^Yeah, that's some yummy shit right there but I think there's a thread all about stout...
Anyway, not sure what to make of this one, with low IBU, and a fairly upitty ABV. Expected more out of it. Actually pretty bland on the old pallette. I guess the name says it all. Kind of disappointed.
But not really. I love beer.

Too much al key hall and not enough ziiiiiiing.

Got mah hands on some concentrate, gonna start experimenting with it.

Its made for beers like that.

Despite being called an "English Style Brown Ale" I would have pegged this as a porter. Fairly light with a nice roasty, coffeeish malt taste. From the can hops: Northern Brewer; malt: Maris Otter, pale, Vienna, Amber, chocolate, Roasted and flaked barley; Yeast: London III. 4.6% ABV. Very nice, sessionable beer. A keeper.

Industrial Arts Brewery in Garnerville, NY- just northwest of the city- is constantly putting out IPAs like everybody else but man when they make a lager, they do a fabulous lager

Really refreshing. They didn’t have it on my last visit but their coffe stout is outstanding as well.

I wish more of those "Hop Bomb" joints would also do a lager. I'd visit them more often.

I’m starting to see more lagers, sours and kolsch styles around here, as well as Mexican styles with a lime that some beertenders have apparently never been taught how to slice.

Any suggestions for where to go in Bellingham? I know there are tons of options but I'm just up here with little notice. Thinking of maybe Structures?

I realize Utica Club may not be for everyone but it still tastes pretty goddamned good in my opinion. Wish the old bullet-bottles were still around but what can you do? UC for me!

I didn't think of Wander but I should have. I went to Structures and had a pretty tasty saison but I can't remember the name.

I grabbed a growler of a 4% oat pale ale that was surprisingly good
