    thanks for the insight.
looking to replace his old volkl kendos.. not sure if you had any experience on that ski but by looking at them they don't seem to be an exciting ski either.

I'm a dynastar fanboy and Waxman knows that. He set my up on a pair of kendo as my dad ski. They are super fun. Just a bit of early rise to tip and tail, hold an edge like a mofo. Stiff but playful enough and you don't need to be on them 100 percent. I really enjoy them. Can carve or hit crud just not at mach 10. My everyday ski is a cham 107.
I've had everything but some of the newer skis. My wife is on the mfree108.

Why not replace with another kendo?

local shop can get a good deal on Rossi/dynastar. also pretty sure the new kendos have seen quite a few updates since his kendos. he has the 2014 model.. doesn't seem like 10 years ago but it is

im kinda leaning the sender 94 as that has some "modern updates" but seems to be more similar to the kendo in shape/turning radius compared to the mpro 94ti..

My bad... I had the 90, not 94. Got ahead of myself on that. Since the 94 is replacing the 90, I confused the two.

based on ski essentials video it seems the new 94 is a bit more exciting than the previous 90

I have a pair of mpro 99 waiting to mount - every time I look at them I’m surprised at how high the tip rocker is - looks way higher than my m free.
After reading and listening to these guys I kind of wish I waited for the 100s but ....

My racer kids LOVE the 99 pro and they’re pretty particular about skis. As 13 and 15 year old girls who ski snowbird 100x a year they say that ski is perfect as an everyday driver.

I’m about to mount some mfree ninety nines and I want to just be certain after combing this thread that the genuine census is that mounting ON THE LINE is the way to go? Looks like some preferred it at plus one cm, but nothing more drastic than that.

    Cheers in advance.

I’ve got my 185’s mounted on the line and like them there. I could see a lighter weight skier liking +1. They measure 182-cm in length IIRC, so keep that in mind.

So, has anyone seen the 185 M-Free 108s in person? Any measurements or side by side comparison with the old 182?

Handed my Mpro90s off to my boy yesterday. He enjoyed them. First non GS/SL ski he has been on in over 5 years.

He rode my Mfree108s too for a couple laps. It was well packed by the time he got on them and were way wider than he is used to. I think he will enjoy them when we get some soft snow finally, so I am starting to look for the 2025s in 185cm for me. They are sold out everywhere, but that may change soon I hear.

I am loving this new I get to hand shit down phase! We are the same BSL and same DIN right now.

I am flirting with the idea of QST106 too. Anyone have a direct comparison to the MFree? I know they have some significant shape differences, but they are a favorite daily for a lot of people.

Own 192 MF108 and have skied the 189 QST 106 a bit. MF108 can be pushed harder, especially in variable. Also skis much looser. QST is a bit easier going but not a noodle. Doesn’t like variable but it floats well and performs a bit better on groomers than the MF108.

I think hard chargers will prefer the MF108. Skiers who want an all Mtn option that leans towards softer snow that is capable but manageable (not demanding) will love the QST.

I would agree with you for the newest gen of QST106 but I would say the complete opposite for the last gen, green QST 106. Stiffer tips and lower profile rocker made it plane better and slice through crud better. I found the Mfrees tried to plow and their tips would fold a bit and create more resistance. But it carved much better.

The new QST is more playful and can't be pushed as hard as the old one.

Haven’t been on it but I’m real curious. Fondled a pair in the shop, they look great just wish they had a bit more mass to em. Definitely made significant changes to shape and profile, not sure how much of a difference the new layup makes on snow.

Finally! Was hoping you would leave some space on your dance card for the 112. Looking forward to your initial impressions.

Sweet! Where are you going to mount them?

According to data on soothski, flex pattern, geometry and weight are pretty much identical between the 191 SF 110 and 190 MF 112.

They flex like the Mfree 118, wider less pointy tip more like the 108, more tail kick, overall I’d say pretty similar shape to the 108 but wider, stiffer and more rocker.

I’m not sure. Probably try to match the mount position I have on the mfree108 which is -1.5
