The Chams were all their own animals, plenty fine but the newer shapes are really really good.

And it was the Pescado not the Sakana. And I still think it’s the best pow ski for skiing Schweitzer on a foggy pow day where you’re in the trees. So fun in tight spaces. You’ll see it’s on the list of skis I regret selling.

you should get some 192s - they compliment BGs really, really well and should be perfect for your neck of the woods or as a travel ski. The hype is deserved, though I do not think they sell like hot cakes over here - DerUte was pratically giving them away this summer (before going out of business - go figure).

I really liked the 108 but at my size they were too soft. It’s definitely not a skill thing, I just need a stouter ski.

A sentimental purchase: my very first experience with the wide skis was a borrowed Cham pair.
    Very. Very jealous. [emoji22]
Currently using my very beat up pair as early season rock skis.
So enjoyable. I think I kinda prefer them to my mpro99's

I’ll be honest, I’ve not really liked any of Dynastars skis in the 90 - 99 range since the OG Cham. All of them are either too light or just kind of boring.

Yeah, I view both those skis and the Powertrack as similar skis, and also view them as sub 90mm. Both were pretty fun skis.

These are nicely beaten up too. I’ll tune the edges, plane the bases, wax… The edge angles are all over the place… the bindings seem to be within my BSL… May have to take’m in for a grind to fully restore them. If they ski well, I may keep them. If not, be happy to let them go.

So, the froggies are launching a Dynastar logo'ed GPO?

Well, I'll be darned! I just hope they'll fill it with rubber and metal, yeah, sweet and quiet ride!

Saw pics and specs of next years M-Free 108 which seems to be unchanged as the specs are identical except for the labelling of the 182cm which moves to 183cm and the 192cm now called a 191cm. Even graphics look similar to this years.

    The M-Free 112 replaces the 119 and has 141/111/133mm, 20m radius and 2.2kg weight in the 183cm. The 191cm is 141/112/133mm, 22m and 2.3kg.

    M-Pro 100Ti and M-Pro 94Ti are new and M-Pro 108 looks unchanged.

Ooh a 112 width is sick! But weird they only went 4mm wider (and lighter?). Hopefully production run weights will be a bit heavier, like how Dynastar always said the 192 Pro Riders weigh 2400g/ski (but more like 2600)

or maybe some air in the 112?

I would be surprised if it’s not the same build as the MFree 108 but wider. Should probably be in the 2400gr range for the 191cm as the 192 MFree 108 weighs about 100gr heavier than spec usually.

hm, the MF118 does not share the same construction as their narrower siblings - in spite of what Dynastar's marketing suggests. Wonder if that is the case here as well. It will be interesting to get more info on the new skis

When looking at Rossi and Dynastar as a whole, their lineups make a ton of sense imho. Want something that thrives from a centered stance, but is strong enough to be driven. Sender Free. Loose from a slightly more traditional moint point, but that can still be rallied. M Free. Strong and do what you tell them to do. M pro. Strong, and pulls you into a turn. Sender. Something noodly for the masses. Rumored Sender Soul. The range of skiers these skis cover is really, really wide.

Was told not to release photo just yet.

Imagine another color swap of the current graphics of the M-Free 108 going back to white tip/tails again(but solid white now) and the majority of the ski being brown(lighter at start fading fading to darker brown in the center) with the “marble like” tree lines in black within the center section like the current skis.

I really hope it looks better than it sounds.
