Speaking of a/b, I just had my first day on my baby LPs (184), after many years of loving my 192s.

The 192 is a big ski, but I find it easier than the 184; they sorta disappear under your feet, whereas the 184 makes you more aware of terrain/snow.

The shorties were still super fun, especially in spring snow couloirs, but the 192s are the real deal.

Keep in mind that I’m not a strong skier, I just like to ski really fast. The bigger LPs let me do that, especially because I mainly ski open alpine (and couloirs)

I’m so glad I hoarded a backup pair of 192s before they were gone.

I saw you on the 'gram the other day, sweet! Was that on the 184's?

Thank you so much for your help with the LPs, mate. Much appreciated.

That little vid was on Fischer Ranger 102fr. Nursing a partially torn hamstring, so didn’t think I was man enough for proper skis at the moment.
Turned out I was ok, and that those Fischers can take a bit of gas.

No worries! They raised quite some joy across continents, so arranging it was a pure pleasure. 😃

Good to hear you're recovering ok. That run looked inviting for sure! 👍

Pro108 - how do the lengths compare to the LP105? Do the 108s ski longer, shorter, or similar?

I skied the 192 LP105 for years, although last season I found myself reaching for the 184s more often.

Now I’m torn between the 182 and 192. 182 seems damn short (besides SL skis I’ve never skied anything that short).
192s could be long if they ski like the 105s.

    Thoughts?

I know he was on the 182, but this ski SEEMS more maneuverable both on paper and now on video. I hope I can try the 192 this season.

The ski is very maneuverable. The 182 would/is a perfect length for Red. That place is a tight steep bumpy place. If at a more open resort then the 192 is the droid.

The Mpro 108 skis a touch shorter than the Lp due to the lp is just a fat gs ski whereas the pro is a freeride ski. For me they ski completely different. That should be very obvious looking at the shapes.
As far as length goes, that all depends on your resort. Tight/steep/techy, 182. More open with some slash and gas here and there with some mash gas, 192 all day erry day.

I think this is the first read that has me considering an mPro 108 as a tweener ski between groomers and forests and big lines in Japan.

Bro— the mPro 108 is nimble?

I thought so. Super fun all around everything ski. One of the few that I keep rethinking my decision to sell, I have to actively and often resist the urge to buy a replacement pair.

Edit: Shit. Never mind. I read “M-Free”. I don’t know dick about an M-Pro 108.

Fcuk, now I'm lusting after a pair of 192. Looks like they're hard to find at a reasonable price, and probably impossible in NZ.

Was just cruising the Rossi/Dynastar pro site and saw the M Cross 88, anyone been on a pair?

Looking for a new EC groomer ski this year and these caught the eye

Some of the folks at skitalk have been riding it, sounds like a solid successor to the Legend X88. Definitely interesting as a low tide/EC ski

    My BSL is 325mm, and I'm 6'1 x 180.
I have both the 184 and 192…on the line is the way to go IMO. Wish I had those top sheets though!

Ended up +0.5cm. Great skis, and won’t fly under the radar, but 192s still the one.

A couple of unnecessary but awesome additions to the quiver. I’m excited to ski the Legend 115 again. I had a pair when they first came out. They were good but I didn’t use them in the right conditions. And the RC112s are the girls length, but probably about right for me now.Click image for larger version.

If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Ski Swap surprise. I nearly shit myself when I saw them, still in plastic. Once I realized they were short, I was a little disappointed. Then I remembered how useless I was on a pair of 198s.
