That does suck in light of the American University incident, but seems to me (as someone who doesn't have to deal with these things) that its a big jump from "multiple bananas inscribed with sorority letters and hanging from tiny custom made nooses" to "banana peel in a tree"

Plus, if he had thrown it on the ground one of the participants from the clown college could have ended up in the hospital.

The university is at fault for 1- allowing bananas at the conference, 2-not having sufficient number of trash cans available.

And if it was a donut laying on the ground, someone would have gotten offended and said it was police brutality

    symbolism, intended or not

American University incident aside what happens if a cloud looks like a banana and/or just a peel?

I'd have trouble around my farm if banana peels are an issue. Every morning I eat a banana before heading to the barn to feed. I bring the peel with me and sometimes I leave it on the ground in various locations for critters (deer seem to like them) other times it ends up in the manure pile usually on top because I toss it there after dumping the stall cleanings so it's in plain view. Think I've had one end up in a tree because my aim was a little high. I've even left one down by the river when I went to turn on the irrigation pump because I forgot to throw it on the manure pile. Place is a veritable banana peel haven.

The cop would have to bend over to pick it up and eat it. That's brutal.

The massive discussion session wrapped up as more and more students stood and left the room – some in tears, some in frustration. NPHC members began texting friends to come and pick them up from the camp since no one had been allowed to drive his or her car up to the retreat. The remainder of the retreat was canceled later that night.
    For fucks sake.....

And who the fuck puts a banana peel in a tree because there wasn't a trash can... find a trash can you lazy cunt.

I'm triggered whenever I encounter.one of those bra & panty trees at ski areas. Of course, it's a different sort of triggering, and not all that unpleasant.

Awesome how a bunch of privileged white dudes think it's their place to tell people of color whether it's okay or not to be offended by something.

Each and everyone of you would probably claim to not be racist, yet each and everyone of you is actually being racist by making no attempt to have any empathy for what it means to be a person of color in this country.

Take your drivel to polyasshat. We're hear to laugh at how sensitive everyone is anymore. Such thin skin in this country it's pathetic.

I took this picture at the TDF in 2004. Imagine driving this ride around the USA Today. Even then, before I'd been racially sensitized, I found it a bit surprising

You should have heard about the time the Native American found the redskin potato in a tree.
