Canada sucks at hockey

Yeah, Canada sucks at hockey. I remember back to the days of my youth, when I played hockey in Washington state. I forget what they called the bracket, but I was 16 at the time. We took a trip up to Burnaby to play a few games with the locals. To make things "fair" they had us play a team that was a full age division younger. We still got our asses handed to us.

The other things I remember about the trip - the arena was some kind of mega ice palace with multiple skating rinks and a section for curling. Never seen anything approaching that in the states.

The other thing was people eating ketchup with their eggs.

Burnaby is my old stomping grounds, the north Burnaby kids were really good at soccer too eh?

So you probably played at the Columbia 4 rinks and you were lucky you were only in Burnaby cuz if you were back in Ontario you would have been playing one of their girls teams to make it "fair"

Growing up a Leafs fan we loved Börje Salming and I have a lot of respect for Swedish players.
I deserved his rebuttal but we should never forgive Sweden for ikea

Canada continues its decline towards hockey suckdom with yet another Stanley Cup finals, with no Canadian team. Whats it been now, 5, 6 years since Canada represented for the Cup??

and both coaches this year, for the first time ever, are American born.
