mudroom floor demo for tile project

it was shitty old vinyl on particle board - only like 1/4 of the particle board is rotten - actually seems ok underneath

There should be a claw back available for houses built with materials like that in a door threshold. I'd settle for the builder getting a swift kick to the nuts.

indeed

but I do think the subfloor under the crap might be ok, but I’m not sure yet - not seeing any rotten plywood - it’s a little damp right at the door but that will dry out

gotta send the small 13 year old boy under the house to get a view of the joists before I rip the plywood out
