For some people writing down what you’ve eaten or done before the migraine will help you figure it out. Mine was easy. The first one for me was a long exposed hike in the sun, eating some m & m’s, not even thinking about drinking water. (This was a long time ago.)
Now I basically over drink water and pee more. Better that than a migraine.

Mine also have a bones/muscles/nerves component. I have back and neck issues. I went for a nice walk in the woods yesterday and my neck and back were sore after. I tweaked something without realizing it at the time. It was slippery. Yaktrax and poles helped a lot. My dehydration related ones don't usually involve the aura and they are not sudden onset. So I usually have ample warnings to ignore to get to the headache part. Fortunately Excedrin works for me so far. Or even ghetto Excedrin (the right mg of aspirin, acetaminophen, and caffeine). I have fairly decent food logs because I am losing weight. Nothing jumps out at me about last night.

Not enough protein intake definitely affects me. Hydration levels too. Energy/protein bars don't seem to quite do it either. A 15g bar or nuts is not he same as a 15g wrap of meat or poultry or jerky.

A bad neck and shoulder certainly could be part of the mix recently too.

    Wow?
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
