There's mushroom places all over Denver already. I'm too old for tripping anymore so I haven't spent much time in these shops but there's no shortage of places selling shrooms and shroom growing kits

One of my regular customers is a psychologist who has been doing these guided psilocybin experiences for years. He said biz has never been better when I saw him last month.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

I went back into the water after I finished my race and got this shot. However, when I do open water training on my own I tow an inflatable buoy like this one: https://www.newwaveswimbuoy.com/coll...20l-tpu-orange Not only do they provide visibility to boaters, etc. but they have a dry compartment where I can stash my keys and phone. Pretty handy.

How cold was the lake right there?

Its pretty wild that that spot, given the currents of the lake and the curvature of the shoreline to the south there creates an almost hydraulic hurricane that keeps the cold, denser water right there for months after winter has ended. People jumping in just 50 yards from shore in June have gotten near-hypothermic after spending the day drinking on the back of a boat.

70 degrees. It was about perfect. More chop/waves than normal, but that's what open water swimming is all about!
