    i don't think the flag/eagle is relevant other than bizarre equivalences with power. random shit like that is everywhere among the "lower" classes in these poor towns and is probably thought to be "cool" more than anything. the politics among these groups are all fucked up with ignorance and short-term (and long-term) manipulation by the more powerful political groups.
