Been meaning to sit down and post this but life and work hit hard once I got back from lodge life. I also crushed//broke/destroyed my right ring finger sledding last week so typing with one hand...(please excuse typos)
Snowfall Lodge is essentially due east of Revy resort and straight south of Rogers pass, where those two lines meet is the lodge, sitting at 1600m snuggled in below the Battle Range.
Raypruit was here earlier in the year, more maps and discussion here:

One run from close to 9000ft down to about 5200ft. Good times, plenty of pics below.....
Right now the hut is very basic, about 16'X16' with kitchen, dining table, couch, and stove drying area on the bottom with the bunks up top. Very cozy and comfortable. This will become the staff accom and main sauna next year as they are building a larger more luxurious place this summer.
Had to get the water from the Grotto about 40ft from from the lodge. This was a treacherous journey after about 5 tall strong cans and numerous edibles while wearing the lodge Crocs that were 2 sizes 2 big.

Morning views of Mt McDonell didn't suck!
Right above the Lodge, good motivation to eat breakfast.
Start of most days looked like this. It had snowed about 20cm at lodge elevation just prior to us getting there with a little refresh of about 10cm the first night. It was April so the fresh down low didn't last that long.
you quickly get above treeline, this our first glimpse of the battle range, beowulf and battle peaks.
Bottom of our first long alpine run.
Back up and drooling the entire time.
We ended up having two good days of sun and topping out above 8800ft.
Discussing whether to go for it or not.... This is the backside of Illusion peak. We went up to the col and skied back down to about 5000ft. It was rad.
Nice sunset that night
Next day right next to beowulf and battle, good laps here then the mega run from my video above
Adios!
