    Has anyone studied the transference of Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus to various cheeses and sliced meats inside a warm jacket pocket?

    They've tried, but had difficulty finding a large enough control population of jackets that had no pockets that could still hold meat and cheese.

    I believe one study found that cold mountain air lends to a lower instance of transmission of the bacterium but that it still reflects poorly on the carrier.
