Dug an old board out of storage. A '93 Burton M6 with the high back soft boot bindings. Comfortable carving. Wanna take it for a ride, but the high back binding hinging is difficult, after all this time. What's a safe lube to help break it back in?

Astroglide
You shouldn't have to deal with this sort of thing. Send it back to the warranty dept, maybe you'll get a new board.

Whatever approach you take, make sure that it's safe. We wouldn't want you to fall on offload ramp.
To answer OP's actual question, I would think any silicone based grease would work. Maybe something like Sil-Glide?
G3 sells tubs of plastic-safe binding grease.
Lube may be the least of your concerns relative to 24 yrs of ozone exposure. YMMV.
