Been rocking the Environ jacket and Figment bibs this season.
Without question, the best bibs I've ever owned.
Perfectly constructed and super bomber.
Couldn't recommend any more.
Same with the Environ jacket.

Looking at the website, it appears both are currently on sale.
For disclosure, no affiliation with Stio ... just a massive fan of these two items I picked up at the start of the season.

For refernce, I was rocking the Flylow Quantum jacket and Baker bibs ... both are trash compared to Stio. Especially the Quantum jacket ... not sure why I ever bothered buying it in the first place with how the hood is constructed in a non-separating way from the collar. But such is life ... live and learn.

My current favorite is the Fernos knickers. If they had a godamn fly they would be perfection! The temp range and breathability is impressive. Used them extensively the last couple weeks in Arctic temps for lift serve, touring and pulling throttle on the sled.

Curious what temps you use them for when touring? I&#39;ve been trying to keep feet warm lately with my self diagnosed Raynaud&#39;s and I think I need to focus on legs.</p>

Haven&#39;t done any touring yet this season.&nbsp;<br />
Have been fine resort skiing with just basic $20 generic amazon base layers with temps down to 5F.<br />
The one thing people hit the Environ jacket on is not ideal breathability, but I simply can&#39;t comment to that without any touring.</p>

Fernos is awesome.
Side zips would complete them (fly would be nice too).
I wear them inbounds if the temp is below ten F.

Above ten F it's the Ortovox Swiss wool shorts (with stripper side zips!).

Interesting. Cloudveil made a set of midlayer knickers, fleece in inside and smooth on outside. Years ago I bought two or three pair from someone on here for $5 or $10 each. The Stios look like worthy replacement upgrades (no microfiber shell and no waist tie strap). I still rock the Cloudveils, used to wear two on extra cold days, elastic waistband still working.

Just my $.02, but a while back I was trying to choose between the Stio knickers and some made by Rab.

Ended up going with the Rab ones on account of them having a fly, which makes me (and my willy) happy. FWIW The ones listed above are a newer version than the ones I got. The Rabs were cheaper at the time.

I looked at the knickers, but ended up finding the Backcountry.com Knickers for cheap. Picked up the Le Bent ones last year and holy shit warm. Both have a fly, stripper zips on the LeBents and side vents on the BC ones. I am a midwest guy, so lift served and cold, and standing around a lot while on patrol. BC ones for anything above 25F, Lebent below.

consensus seems to be that stio shells are bomber as fuck. recently picked up fernos knickers and jacket and love them. can anyone confirm that sizing is consistent between these pieces and their shells? went xl in the jacket and L in the knickers.

I’ve had good luck with sizing consistency in the jackets for sure, and I don’t recall any noticeable differences between the different Environ pants and bibs I’ve had. I’m also XL in jackets and LG in pants.

I’ve given up on Flylow’s weird sizing changes, and I’ve gone back to Stio gear again. Very comfortable with that decision.

Jackets and bibs seem to run pretty true to what you would expect.<br />
Always been an XL and the XL environ and figment bibs fit perfectly.<br />

When it comes to clothing, I bought an XL midweight flannel from them and it fits like an XXL.<br />
Kinda swimming in it but it does work great to wear OVER the bibs when skiing in cold weather so there&#39;s that.<br />
