My commute is now 45 min.
I’ve discovered that being entertained is way more appreciated than learning something.
In order of most likely to pick:
1. Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend
2. My Dad Wrote A Porno
3. Stuff You Should Know
4. Stay Tuned With Preet

If I had to choose a favorite it’d be Stuff You Should Know
Listen to Fore Play every Tuesday and Thursday.
Barstool golf podcast.
Alien Theorists Theorizing.
Conspiracy and alien stuff but with heaps of levity and very little Kool-Aid drinking. I’m not usually into this type of stuff but these guys are hilarious.

The dirtbag diaries did an interview with Steve Casmiro that I enjoyed.

Anybody grew up in the 70/80/90’s skateboard culture - check out Nine Club. Pretty good in depth sit downs with OG pro skaters (brigade guys/etc); they got a lot of new stuff too, but I skip all that. The guests make it good.
Different vibe - jeselnik/Rosenthal vanity project; good banter on random stuff. If jeselnik fan, will enjoy.

New season of Revisionist History is fascinating. The bonus chapter from his book has me seriously considering a purchase.
3rd on Stuff You Should Know. The kids love it. I thought my son fell asleep during the punk episode, so I paused it. He spoke up with "hey, I'm listening to that".
The Ron Burgundy Podcast is entertaining. Starts pretty slow, but gets better.
If you watch Good Mythical Morning, their podcast Ear Biscuits is pretty good.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
No Dogs in Space is a solid music history podcast. So far, more of a funny story format than a deep dive into genre and influences. I think Carolina Hidalgo shines in this format. She's a great young voice on Movie Sign with the Mads, but mostly sounds awkward and uncomfortably out of place.

I'll have to start listening to this. You listening to broken record? It's put on by Malcolm Gladwell and Rick Rubin. Lately they have been using a random host to fill in, which is annoying because all I care about is listening to Rick talking shop to musicians. But all the episodes are good no matter the host except for a few. I even like ones from artists I would never listen to otherwise. Amazing insights to the creative process.

Broken Record is awesome, but I'm not caught up. Bummer about the random host.

I started The Dream the other day, looking forward to a long road trip to get into it.
Awesome first episode about ponzis / multi level marketing, etc

love this one, gone through the catalogue and the episodes with some of the older legends (Grosso, Hosoi, Dave Duncan, Vallely) are all really rewarding if you're into old guy skateboarding.
I'm not a huge fan of him, but his latest episode with Riley Reid was a really good listen. She's great. He's a dork.

He's a really intelligent guy, but it's funny how that plays with the different guests.
With someone like Gary Kasparov or Vitalik Buterin it works well and you have to stay on top of the conversation. With Riley Reid he comes across as unable to figure out how to talk to normal people.
And I have no understanding of the recent guitar/singing shit.
The guests are pretty hit or miss though. Its the only podcast where I either listen to the whole thing, some parts more than once, or don't last more than 10 minutes.
Small Town Murder is really good / funny
BS report - far and away my favorite, but I’m a huge basketball junkie
Book of basketball 2.0
The rewatchables
Lowe post
EMcrit
Mark Maron WTF podcast... the interview feel like normal conversations
Good insight. Just a tad late to the game.

i need a new rec with 14 hours of driving coming up this weekend. The Dream kind of petered out for me.
Has This Land been mentioned? if you liked bundyville it’s in the same lane. Native American rights being infringed in Oklahoma, etc.

the consistently great 'reply all' really outdid themselves with this week's episode:
