Like a diesel nozzle into a gas spout? Just found out my sister did that years ago. Classic. That came up because one of our drivers did the opposite to the tune of a 6k bill. Wtf

I always tell friends when we are in Utah, that its like visiting Canada. Its about 95% familiar and the other 5% you cant quite put your finger on. But it is definately different.

Easier, yes. Always the best approach? No. Gotta weigh the possible results. If jail or paying a large amount of money is a possible outcome, for example, you might want to get permission.

Example: it took me 3 $20 parking tickets in downtown Boulder before I finally conceded that it's better to just put a quarter in the damn meter, even if I'm just running into the store for a second, than to gamble on whether a metermaid happens to be nearby.

More to do with the "other half" than breaking laws. like coming home late after work from playing a round of golf.

I see what you are saying there, but I have to go on my rant anyway. There was a time when I enjoyed trips to Disneyland, even unmedicated.

Last time I went, though, got me completely over the mouse. Be aware that they change the closing times for different days of the week, at least at the companion park Disney California Adventures. I get there at 7PM, expecting them to stay open until 11PM, like they are on Fridays. But this is a Thursday and they close at 8PM on Thursday. Now this fact is not stated very obviously at the ticket counter and no one warned me when I forked over the $80 or whatever it was (this was a few years ago, I think it is $95 now). So imagine my surprise when the the park shuts down after I get one rollercoaster ride. When I discuss the situation with the people in the ticket booth on the way out, there was no budging. I could pay extra to get a combo pass to visit the old Disneyland park, which was still open till 11PM, which I did, but still felt very ripped off, which I never felt before there. It's always been expensive to go there, but I think they've turned the corner on greed. Come on, when someone shows up an hour before closing, wouldn't you warn them about that? Especially if the other park is open for much later? End rant.

A preface means that the person will do exactly that:

    Not to be offensive but,
Not saying she deserved it, but
    I'm not a racist, but
Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with it, but
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
