    Atomic Hawx Ultra

Specifically the 130. Anyone ski these yet? Opinions?

I've only fondled them in a shop. Lightest frontside 130 flex boot I've ever had in my hands. I'm looking to replace my Redsters and as much as I dislike paying the price for current year equipment these intrigue me.

Think he's asking about the Hawx Ultra (1680g, no walk mode, available now), not the Hawx Ultra XTD (1450g, walk mode, available next season).

Multiple first hand accounts of inadequate overlap and closure over the forefoot leading to leaky boots. Local rep has been retrofitting this year's boot with custom gaskets and spacers, to effect a temporary fix, while claiming that next year's boot addresses the issue, and offering to upgrade to the new model in the Fall for at least one otherwise satisfied customer.
