Proper Etiquette for selling stuff

Hey Guys,

I may have missed a sticky or something, but didn't want to rock the boat. I have some bikes and gear that I want to sell. Do those types of posts go directly into (or can they be referenced in) the applicable forum, or does everything belong just in the gear swap section of the forum.

I see a few for sale items in this forum, but being the new guy, I want to make sure I don't get kicked out right off the bat.

Or you could post it in both places. Gear swap is slow this time of year so its less of a problem but bike stuff gets buried fast during the winter if you don't post in sprockets.

pretty sure that for as long as this subforum has existed, it's been ok to sell bike gear in here. It's ok to post in both places or just in one.

That said, I ain't buying big ticket items from a low poster. Integrate yourself into to the family. Gain some trust and respect. Piss off a couple crazy fools. Post nekkid pics of your sister. Then give it a go.

This. As long as I've been here it's been an unspoken exception that bike stuff is posted here. Sure is a lot more effective IMO. I'm even a bit annoyed at having to click another link from here to a gear swap thread. I never go in there anymore either. Occasionally some crusty fucker who's shorts are too tight will bitch about it. Pay them no mind. Let's see what you got.
