Not back to Jersey, but not far. Headed back to Goshen NY after 11 great years in Utah. I'm very sure I'll have to get used to the humidity again.

Annandale/Flemington
I really had no idea you were in the area. It's been family time though so there's full commitment there, you know how that goes. A nephew's wedding. I'm headed back to the land of entrapment on Sunday. And I'm sorry, I'd like to meet you.
Nice pallet.

Ha-funny story. My brother lived in Williston, Vt and his 5 year old son was really into basketball and they watched it on TV a lot. They're driving down to Joisey for a visit and they're in a rest stop and see a big black dude. Son blurts out-Look dad, a basketball player. People all look and my sister in law is mortified, but the guy looked confused and then cracks up laughing.

never been to Goshen but it doesn’t look too bad at a glance.
it’s not utah but the variety close to home isn’t bad.
close to the hudson for paddling.
skiing at west point (now open to the public) in less than 30, belleayre in an hour
pretty epic hiking and sweet swimming spots in the catskills, gunks, hudson highlands ( schunemunk, storm king, black rock forest).
not sure about the mountain biking but if he surprised if there isn’t some.
i kinda miss the hudson valley. but yea, condolences.j'ai des grands instants de lucididididididididi

I won't die and I'll probably play a lot more golf again. I'm torn obviously, but in the end it's probably a good move for the family.

I'm seriously going to miss the underground power where I live in Utah. In 11 years the power has gone out for a total of 30 min. If you're not aware we do get a lot of wind. Not nearly as many trees, but with them underground it doesn't matter.

It would take billions of dollars and thousands and thousands of eminent domain court fights to fix it here. Last place I lived in Upper Westchester lost power for a total of 36 days in the six years there. You look up, and the power lines are practically hidden in the trees. The rich don't care, because they all have gas fired generators.
But, it is nice. I wear lightly tinted Oakleys on my road rides. Its one big canopy. Tons of shade. I like green, too. Babbling streams and Brooks are cool, too.

Hey you'll have one of the best bike shops around in your town. Joe Fix It's is fantastic. Tell Brian I said hi There is some great mt biking close, not right in town but close enough, there are a couple of trendy food spots downtown now too. Lift served at Mt Creek and Windham isn't far and is worth the time spent and there is skiing sorta close too. Yup humid

That is the truth. Grids are totally fucked around here. I guess it sells more generators though.
