Shop wisdom - binding jig/template for Tyrolia Attack Demo

Did a bunch of searching but can't seem to find any definitive answers.

Will the standard Tyrolia Attack jig/template work for their demo binders with the movable toe piece?

I have experience with the Marker Griffon/Jester demos, so understand how that mount comes together. I just can't seem to find anything out on the interwebs. I found paper templates for the Tyrolia, but they don't make any mention of demo's.

Any shop folks or tech folks out their know for sure?
Eyeing some of those demo's to throw on some skis that I can put my brother and friends on when the snow is deeper than their gear supports.

If so, what BSL do you set up the mount for- similar to Griffon/Jester @ 315mm?

Thanks in advance for any constructive assistance.

According this video, the Attack demo jig is different. Unless I'm wrong.

Yup - as I suspected. In some searching late last night I did find the Elan tech manual for their skis and bindings. I was able to confirm the difference in the template between the two versions of the bingings.

Anyone have a paper template (supposed to come in the box with the demo's according the Elan tech manual).

I need one, too. Can anyone scan and post up here?

I got the factory template from Flexon Phil. Let me see if I can get to a kinkos or something to scan at full size to a PDF file. If so I'll post it up.

What Phil said, go that route as long as he's willing to share. It'll likely be quicker than waiting for me to get off my ass and prioritize Kinkos.

Plus, it will be as exact as you can get without the actual jig. Even if scanned @ 100%, you could have scaling issues when printing.

These are pretty heavy duty plastic, not paper.

Maybe someone could make a .pdf copy for the Paper Template thread.

That's what I will try to do - just a little less urgent as Phil stepped in to help. It'll take a larger format scanner than I have at home - so a trip to FedEx/Kinkos to get the job done

Did anyone ever get a PDF scan of the paper/plastic template?
[Or, can you give me pretty accurate spacing between the holes in the toe mount and the heel? [Front toe screws -to- rear-most heel-screws or any variation, just specify.]

Width's are nice, but totally not required. [I've got calipers and can measure it out, if needed.]

The separation distance between the toe and heel mounts are the most difficult to determine. Without a template, I'll have to trial-and-error my way to the proper distance.

    Template would be super-awesome.

    TIA!

I'll see if the scanner at my work can handle the size of the jig I received from Phil - it'll have to be next week though. If that won't work I'll try and get out to kinkos or whatever they are called these days

So, I'll just add a little detail, perhaps to help someone crank out a template.

Compared to the "regular" Attack 13 template:
The rear mount positions are completely correct in spacing.
The front holes, however, are different.

Measuring the holes [averaging the width/lengths of the two actual toe plates I have - four sets of individual measurements]

Length [front hole to rear hole of the toe plate] 100mm
Width is right at 34.0mm [33.95mm to 34.05mm]

These are hole centers. [Width/length of outsides + width of insides/2]

So, now we just need to know the distance between one set of toe screws and one set of heel screws. [Again, either is fine, just specify.]

I have some more of these plastic ones, each binding comes with one. I ended up just buying the jig to save time.

I'll be very interested in one if you still have it

I'd be interested in one as I might pick up some on3p demos at some point. But I'd rather let people who need them to get them now. Hopefully someone can scan them, or list detailed measurements for the toes and heels at least (front measurements were listed a couple pages back)
