Best expense tracking app for business travelers?

Anyone have experince using an expense tracker app to track and document expenses and create expense reports? Looking for an app that will let me photograph the receipt, input the amounts, designate the expense type, and produce a report I can give my assistant so he can put my expenses in our corporate system. Any recommendations?

Please tell me that you don't pay for business travel with your ATM card or by writing checks.

It might be a little overkill just for expenses, but i use harvest for timesheet & expense stuff.
The expense feature works pretty nicely. You can sort items by clients. It basically does exactly what you're asking for (albeit with the overhead of also tracking time).
In addition to web access, there's an app for your mobile device & for your cpu & they all synch. So you can start a timer, for instance, at your desk and click it off from your mobile device after you've left and met with a client off site.
You can take photos of receipts (or scan them in later) and categorize them how ever you like.
It can generate a report for you & will even play nice with quickbooks and other bigger accounting softwares.
Or you can just invoice right through harvest.
you can try it for free for 30 days & the cost for a single user is pretty minimal
they have a vid that explains it all

I travel a ton for work- in the range of 60 flights per year and on the road 50% or more. My company uses Concur, which includes the ExpenseIt app for expense tracking and TripIt Pro for keeping track of travel plans.

I take photos of receipts with ExpenseIt and someone in Bangladesh or India categorizes the receipt and manually enters the amount and the currency. ExpenseIt is OK- often times the currency or amount or category needs to be changed on my end before I submit the final expense report.

TripIt is great for keeping track of complicated itineraries. I just used it on a month long multi-continent work trip consisting of 11 flights, several train trips and 8 hotels. It automatically ingests travel information from emails and gives prompts of where you're going that day and what hotel you're staying in. It keeps track of boarding passes, check in times and If there is a delay or a gate change, it tells you on your phone.

All in al Concur has a solid offering. I haven't found anything better.

Concur rocks. I can attach receipts to reports through my phone. I can also snap a picture of a receipt, and it stores it in a receipt module that you use later when you are doing your report.

Might be overkill for one person though.
