[QUOTE=XavierD;7044018Could just be the Jeffery is a better style match.[/QUOTE]

fair point - if one wants more float from the back of the ski jeffeys could def be the ticket. The descriptions of the issues do not drag me in that direction though.

The tune question was more for it wanting to go down the fall line and causing him/you to be caught out. Asyms do not need to full speed all the time from my time on them, and their tails are dead easy to schlarve all over the place provided the tune is tolerably good - so it kinda sounds like they ought to be a perfect score of 5/7 for the intended use with some minor tweaks.

Ya know...I did get them tuned up last season and started getting frustrated with them after that. I'll try some detuning and see if that helps

    PSA:

The 2017 Asym Cease and Desists with the Longer Rocker Profiles are the best deep day pow ski of all time.

    That is all. Thank you

Ok, thanks - I'm set now on -2 as my softsnowski now. Enough to erase my doubts.

I know this has probably been said buuuuut on last years BG 110s and 118s in 192. Was pushing the mount forward 1cm helping people get more along with the ski??
I find the it skis quite dang well but could use a bit less tip and more tail in certain situations.

Am I wrong to think this from people who have tried it at +1?

Also they are the BG 110 Tours in 192, so not sure if that changes anything for that too

If you’re trying to make the 192 BG ski more like the older 191s, move the mount back a cm rather than forward.

I have my 187 BG110s stock layup +1 and love them there. Feel a bit quicker and more balanced and yeah give just a bit more tail in the back which I wanted coming from the Asyms which I felt could wash out.

C&Ds look awesome for untracked would love to try a set in the right conditions. The supergoats can sink when it gets super deep but make up for it by erasing all tracks in their path.

Given that the asym Cease&Desists are effectively a fat Billy Goat, they also steamroll anything in the way. Mine were built in 2018 and have the “old” tour core, which is all bamboo.

These are from the year before, I think the first year of that tour layup, pre asym but with the xl rocker. Scored a pair from noparking a couple of seasons ago.

If they made that shape in a 2024 tour layup, I would buy a 193 in a heart beat. Drool.

I emailed Scott about this exact concept. He said that the C&D may come back at some point, maybe as stock or as custom option, but couldn't do it now.

No fuckin way! There was a zero camber version? I need to get my paws on those. I've always thought a zero camber ON3P would be absolute tits.

Never got on the canoe-rocker 2017s, but my 2019 asym-fat-goat-tour-core variety are my favorite skis of all time.

I still regret not buying your 2014s when you had them for sale.

Man, that would be so awesome if those became available again with the flat underfoot and tip rocker that started at the toe piece. With the reduced rocker, it doesn’t have much of an advantage over the BG. But with some touring bindings, you could rip some big pow lines!
