A really cool job. Not cool enough to outweigh the suck that is this town though. I grew up in Tampa, which is infinitely better, but still in FL. At least the fishing was good.

Wait, you're from Florida but now it's crushing your soul? Maybe try Mississippi for a while and then move back.

Orlando specifically is what is crushing my soul. Tampa can be a lot of fun, especially if you have a boat. Fair point on Mississippi though. No thanks.

Good luck in CO. I grew up in DeLand and it was kinda crappy. Loved living in Salt Lake but family brought us back here...took me a couple years but I dig it now.

Damn, that was a nice AJ too. I will miss the saltwater fishing but plan on getting into fly fishing in a big way.

For me it was where I grew up, Manhattan. So not the place for me.

Actually, Fort Lauderdale kinda sucks but we make the most of it and are in Stuart all summer.
Oh shit, sorry Mang. Gotta get over there some day. Stuart that is. You can keep Lauderdale. I did my time there already.

Of course I do, actually had a beer with him at Avery about 6 months ago when he was visiting.

icemang if you haven't lived in orlando or talked to someone who has, you really don't know how shitty it is. Oxford Mississippi for example is to Orlando as Jackson is to Wolf Ridge (N.C.)

So... beers at Avery then? I'll be in Boulder in a little over two weeks.

Yeah, man, do it. We're there nearly every weekend in the summer. Bring the fam, or just come and we'll kill fish and a bottle of rum.

Might be over your way the next month or 2 to see the grandmother-in-law.

    yes, congrats

FLA is ok to visit but I could not live there.

Did a hitch at Orlando while in the Navy. Would go to Daytona or Coco with my kayak to piss off the surfers.

How long do I have to live there before I'm allowed to complain about I-70 and trustafarians in Summit County?
