Toe box in BD Factor vs. the BD Quadrant

Anyone have experience with the how the toe box width of the BD Factor compares with the BD Quadrant? Asking for my brother... He tried the quadrant and they were a perfect fit, but was curious about how the fit would compare to the quadrant before pulling the trigger. on one or the other.

The factor felt a bit pointier and had a tad less volume, if I remember right.
Been few years since I was on factors, been on Quads for 4 (5?) years now.
The Quadrants are couple of millimeters (3mm if I remember right?) wider overall than the Factors, so take that into account.

If they fit, good. Which means that you brother has some fucked up mutant feet, just like I do.
It also means there are basically 0 other boots that will fit without serious punching.

Didn't the fit change on the Factors at some point, specifically in the toe box...?
