Well I landed on it really hard skiing in early December and blew up the pelvis side of it. They say the bone's healed now but it still hurts a lot, mainly when I get up after sitting for a while and then it loosens up some after a while.

But yesterday I walked half a mile and that was way too much. Only one way to find out what's too much though. I'm pushing it and going forward but there are limits for sure at this point. I've been pretty happy in this chair today.

Jesus. The pelvis does not break easily. Glad youre on the mend. Was it an acetabular fracture?

Yup. Both columns. Pretty severe injury if I say so myself. Two top-notch ortho surgeons wouldn't operate, said it was located basically perfect and thy couldn't improve it. But if they had done surgery and wired shit together I woulda been fine probably two months ago, I just had to recover on my own. Such is life.

The best was three different radiologists called the injury "impressive". I told my primary doc about that and he laughed and said, "well at least they didn't say it was 'interesting', that's the kiss of death."

I keep fighting that, to my detriment. I sure wish I could learn the lesson, it's not difficult to understand. In theory.

Wow. Yeah, anterior and posterior wall fx films are almost always impressive. Fingers crossed that you end up skipping the entire AVN thing.
