    Tungsten File?

Has anyone used a tungsten file for tuning skis? Thinking of dropping $90 on one of these so I can tune my skis without spending a bunch of time sanding the rock burrs away. Will this work the magic like I hope, or should I buy a panzar file? Any of you machine heads know of a source to get a tungsten file cheaper?

Directions say don't use the tungsten on the base edge, side edge only.

Yeah, I see that now. I have no idea why. I also see that is says to remove large burrs before using. I've been long retired from this game, but this sounds like shite to me. Maybe if you're a gate basher using this file would be wonderful, but I would get the panzar and rip the big shit off quick, hit it with a file, then a diamond and go ski imo.

It is a damn sharp file. Takes a lot less passes to get the job done. I still use a Panzer File 9Tpi to set the original bevel.
