Anyway, didn't come here to argue, so apologies if I caused offence. I just intended to point out we all have different experiences skiing, and varying results when it comes to the retention of our bindings.
Not offended here. I told you what I thought from 20+ years of experience skiing Dynafits but you seemed offended so the snark was turned on.

I still think that most of the prereleasing is actually not being fully engaged but yeah if you're hucking bigger than 10' or going Mach looney in frozen chicken heads then maybe Dynafits aren't the tool.

I came into this thread just wanting to add that my heels release quite easily when I'm skiing my softer skis (Dynafit Manaslus w/ Vertical FT12's @ 12) but I've never had a problem on my stiffer skis (DPS Lotus 138's w/ PLUM Guides and ON3P BillyGoats w/ Beast 14's). So a similar experience to what you're mentioning, though I could almost guarantee a release by hopping off a little bump on those skis.

I've always skied Plums at the same release value as my alpine bindings plus the toe lever 1 click up and I hold back a little compared to alpine setups. Two real falls, both times with correct releases. No pre-releases. Works for me.
