Personally, I would say yes... but I know a lot of people who would say it's not even the best Radiohead song of all time.

    No.

I do think that Subterranean Homesick Alien/Karma Police/Let Down is the best back to back to back song set of all time, though.

There really are a ton of Radiohead fans here these days. Years ago on P-mag I almost felt alone.

So it's settled then, while most agree it's a great song, it is difficult if not impossible to attribute the title "greatest song of all time" to any one song. Thank you for your participation, and by the way, I've been a huge radiohead fan since 1995, when I was first learned that all along I really wished that I was bulletproof, I just needed to hear it from Thom first.

Drop the "android" part of the title and you will be spot on.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

MD, i still remember your TR from a concert that may have involved one of your water bottles. Do you have a personal favorite Radiohead song?

Personally, the sound of "Let Down" is mine. Lyrically...I'm not that well versed to make a choice.

It would be really tough to pick one.

But to give ireallyliketoski some ammo for his case. The results of a recent poll:

I'm shocked that Pop is Dead wasn't dead last in the poll. That's pretty much the most scorned RH song on the board I post at.

How "Creep" is ahead of songs like "Morning Bell", "Subterranean Homesick Alien", "Packt", and "Black Star" is beyond me. That list blows.

That list was from an Atease poll. Ateasers know their shit concerning Radiohead. They may have different opinions, but they are definitely informed.

BTW, anybody else on here have every single song listed?

Pretty sure I do. I think I probably have a few that aren't on there as well like Follow Me Around and Nude. Man I wish they'd put those down onto a real album.

Heard a guy on the radio playing that song on piano the other day, sounded sort of like a very good piano player trying to noodle in a 'new age' style. Still better than hearing it with that singer's voice...

I'll have to get that shirt. But there aren't any malls around here, so I'm out of luck with the mall girls/Alicia Keys angle.
I eagerly await your next suggestion, though.

Yes. They interviewed him and he transcribed all the songs, too, although I understand the chances of actually playing some of them are remote. You can buy the book, though, and he said he included pictures to make up for the problems with playing the music.

I have that disc. I think it's sort of weak, sort of cool. He probably just did it for a larf, but it's a little too light and chamber-music-y for me. It kind of simultaneously makes 'Head more "highbrow" while dumbing them down. That being said, there aren't a lot of other bands for which such an effort would be anywhere near worthwhile.

I don't understand a world in which Radiohead are listened to by millions and widely hailed as musical geniuses, yet (for instance) Sunny Day Real Estate and Burning Airlines, who have written albums worth of amazingly beautiful and catchy songs, are pigeonholed as music for emo dorks and ignored.

I don't even dislike Radiohead: I just don't understand what the big deal is.

I don't understand a world where a guy wears twister parachute pants in public, let alone at all. But to each their own.
