    Rick Simpson oil and cancer

Does anybody have any experience with Rick Simpson oil and cancer? Interested in information if you or someone you know has tried it. Sounds like a friend is gonna get some for me.

I have a friend who was on disability due to seizures caused by an inoperable brain tumor. He's been on the Phoenix Tears for a year or so now, and was back to work after a few weeks of treatment.

I've helped a friend cook it up for a very ill family member. Does it work? I dunno, lots of debate about that and in this case, the ill person isn't faithfully following Simpson's full regimen. But, it certainly helps with the side effects from the chemo and radiation. There's definitely a palliative benefit.

You can make this yourself and that's key for quality control. Its really easy to make, assuming you can get your hands on half a pound of precursor (you need a strong indica strain). You need that much to do Simpson's full regimen which I think requires a full 30g of oil administered over a month. After the initial treatment, there's also a maintenance regimen. When you make it, the key factor is achieving decarboxylation because it is administered orally. Normally, THCA is decarbed to THC by the heat from smoking but for oral meds, the solution must be adequately heated during reduction or, you can dry heat the weed in an oven before adding it to solvent. I've seen people online talk about using napatha, acetone or isopropyl alcohol as the solvent. I would definitely not do that just to save a few bucks. That shit is toxic. If you got $1500-1800 of precursor in the mix, don't cheap out to save $50 on solvent. Use ethyl alcohol (everclear). If it was me, I'd certainly want to know who made it and how.

I tried to make is using an ounce for starters and it didn't turn out to say the least. I figured I would take a trial run before we got into using the amount we want to use. It just seems easier and cheaper to have it made by someone who really knows how to make it. We.re getting it from a guy who owns a dispensary. I think we're getting 70 grams for $1000. Does that sound like a fair deal? Or does that sound too good to be true?
